Was coming from 5hrs away to pick up the car. When I left with the car, the battery light was on and they told me not to worry since they just replaced it. That was obviously not the issue as the car died on the side of the highway and I was stranded waiting for a tow truck for 5hrs. Then finally got towed to a mechanic at midnight and slept outside of the mechanics shop until they were open. Page, my dealer, said he would try to get my repairs reimbursed since it was around $700…im still waiting Page. Overall would not recommend this dealer and wouldn’t trust the mechanic they take their cars too. The mechanics I took it to all noticed multiple issues that was not safe for a 5hr drive

I came in for a clutch and flywheel appointment and they wasted no time booking me an appointment and getting the job done quick and reliably.

The air conditioner in my car was starting to blow warm air during the hot summer days in Gilroy. I have a Chiweenie that I take with me everywhere and he didn’t appreciate that. I went online looking for somewhere to take my car in for service. During my search I came across Gilroy car care. I spoke with Matt. I liked his matter of fact style, and I made an appointment to leave the car for the day for a diagnosis. It. turned out to be the compressor. Matt then gave me a very fair price and to make a long story short I made an appointment and got the work done. I got a one year warranty and now the car has cold air blowing. I’m happy my dog is happy. So far so good. As a 64-year-old man who doesn’t like to mess around with trivial things I highly recommend them. keep up the good work guys.!

Matt was wonderful getting my alternator fix next afternoon when I needed my ride soon as possible. Im was driving thru Gilroy from Fresno. I’m very happy with the work got a brand new battery and new alternator installed. My car drives great. Highly recommend Gilroy Car Care. Thank you.

Quick and inexpensive great experience

I do not post reviews but am making an exception. As a first time customer, I highly and enthusiastically recommend Gilroy Car Care. I brought my 2017 Volvo S-60 in for service and a full inspection on July 1. I am so glad that I did! Matt was very welcoming and professional. He listened to my questions, gave honest answers, called me later with an estimate, and completed all service wonderfully, including the replacement of the battery. The cost was incredibly reasonable and far less than what a dealer would charge for the same work. Matt even reached out today (two weeks later) to see if my Volvo was running the way I would want and to make sure I was happy with the service. I am very happy! If you want reliable and top-notch service, choose Gilroy Car Care. You will be pleased.

Gilroy Car Care is a community gem. We were traveling north and our check engine came on, it was flashing which meant an urgent problem. We drove to the Gilroy Car Care center, Matt was incredibly helpful, he put us at ease as he checked out the car, diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue. Everything was clear, open, upfront and most importantly HONEST. Thank you!
